Hanoi Bus Route Map
To find your way to travel from your location to the desired destination by public bus, you can use one of the applications with a Hanoi bus map or check the official bus route map provided by the bus operator.
The main public bus service operator in Hanoi has their own website, where the routes are presented on the map. Route maps are available here: Transerco Map.
Otherwise, you can use one of the apps with Hanoi bus routes:
- Google Maps
- BusMap Ha Noi
- VinBus
Google Maps
The easiest way to find a required Hanoi bus route for your journey is using the Google Maps app, as it works decently well with the Hanoi public transport system. Just search for your desired destination, click “Directions,” choose public transport, and the best route will be presented to you.
However, you can't rely on the schedule and the length of the proposed journey presented on the app. Traffic is unpredictable in Hanoi, and your waiting time and journey time might vary significantly depending on the traffic.
BusMap Ha Noi
BusMap Ha Noi is one of Vietnam's apps that is useful for public bus riders. The app lets you plan a trip by Hanoi buses and also covers the recently opened Hanoi metro routes. Here you can also check the routes of all Hanoi ordinary buses, electric buses, and Noi Bai Airport express buses. You can choose between Vietnamese and English languages.
However, the web version of BusMap works quite slowly and therefore in most cases we prefer the app below.
VinBus
VinBus app is useful not only for using the electric buses of the same-named company, but also the other city buses of Hanoi, just like the BusMap app. Actually the design of these two apps are similar and the main difference is in details. The VinBus app prioritizes electric bus routes of the company and doesn't include metro and City Tour bus routes. However, the web version of it works much faster.
